There is live after the jetlag...

Hello out there, i finally created my internship blog.
First of all, there will be a lot of spelling mistakes in this blog,
but i don't care... so you shouldn't care either.

For a good overview of our trip to the states and the first few days
visit the blog of my travelmate karpo (Yeah, the strange polish guy :))
at http://k4rpo.wordpress.com.

Our Photos will be posted at Karpos Flickr Accoung:

Our first day at the school of information went quite well. We went to the international
office to fill out some imigration stuff (Don't be afraid, or cheer to fast... so far, i think i am coming back :) ) and afterwards got our office. We cleaned it up an i spend about 50$ at the big UWM Poster sale (They had a lot of awesome stuff), so it is now well decorated. We meet a lot of our co-workers and they all were very kind. We also talked to Jaques du Plessis who initialized and accompanied the two study projects (Flexitutor and the Math-Game) at Hagenberg last term. (We will work with him again, a little later during our stay)

On our 2nd day we meet our dean Johannes Britz for a coffee. He is a fun guy and told us about the real cause of our stay. He needed 2 guys for cleaning up is garage, for cooking, washing the dishes, and watching his children. So we will have plenty to do here in the states. (Momomonster Joke!) Rest of the day we spent setting up our computers (Not finished yet...) We also got some first information about the projects we will work on (A Video- and a Flash-presentation of the School of Information Studies for the UWM open day).

Today (the 3rd one) we also spent some time at the international office and are now brainstorming and developing some ideas we want to present to the marketing office of the school of information studies (for the open day projects). At lunch we will meet the students going to Hagenberg on Sunday, to give them a little overview.
